Oskar Blues Brewery Goes ‘Royal’ For Tenth Anniversary
Everybody who lives in Colorado knows that there is most likely a brewery right around the corner. Oskar Blues is a Longmont brewery best known for Dales Pale Ale, and with the tenth anniversary of the of their popular brew, they will introduce a 'super-sized' tall can.
Dale's Pale Ale was the first craft brew to be produced in a recyclable aluminum can in the U.S. and this year marks the tenth anniversary. Oskar Blues decided to celebrate by producing Dale's Pale Ale an over-sized tall can, and they are calling it the "Royal Pint."
To get a better image in your head of what a "Royal Pint" looks like, its as tall as a typical 24oz can but with the diameter of a 16oz can. Oskar Blues will be the first of any brewery in North America to produce a brew in that size can.
Oskar Blues has launched the new "Royal Pint" at The Great American Beer Festival in Denver this weekend.
