The Northern Colorado shooting task force has made a few strides in the string of Northern Colorado shootings and deaths of 2 individuals last year, but has left citizens even more confused.

The task force held a media briefing on Tuesday at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, the first time they have addressed the issue since last summer, the Coloradoan reports.

Through investigation, they have been able to link 3 pairs of shootings, Denver7 reports. However, the pairs have not been linked together.

Overall, the task force received 5,100 tips, conducted 1,000 interviews, investigated and eliminated 12 people of interest, and has processed over 340,000 telephone numbers, all of which were obtained by court order, according to the Coloradoan.
