Northern Colorado Cyclist Hit By Car and Sent to Hospital

On Monday (July 11, 2016), a 71-year-old cyclist was hit by a pickup truck and sent to the hospital with serious injuries. According to the Greeley Tribune, cyclist Thomas McMahan was hit in Evans around 7:30 a.m., by 31-year-old Robert Prevost. Prevost was driving his GMC Sierra pickup, when he hit McMahan while turning out of the 7-Eleven on 37the Street. McMahan was sent to the hospital with serious injuries. At this time, no enforcement action has been taken against Prevost, however, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
