I grew up going to this amusement park every summer, and in 2016, with the debut of their latest coaster, this park is set to break 10 world records. You've probably never thought of Sandusky Ohio as an ideal family vacation destination. However, growing up in Western Pennsylvania, Sandusky was a "must go" summer spot. Sandusky Ohio is the home of one of Americas biggest and best amusement parks, Cedar Point. You may have heard of this park before, from its many appearances on the Travel Channels "Top" lists, when they cover roller coasters.

Next summer, Cedar Point is set to unveil their latest thrill ride Valravn. Valravn will be setting the mark as the worlds tallest and fastest dive coaster, with a record 214ft drop, at a 90-degree angle, with a top speed of 75MPH.

Here are the 10 records that will be broken by Cedar Point in 2016:

Tallest dive coaster: 223ft

Fastest dive coaster: 75mph

Longest dive coaster: 3,415ft

Most inversions on a dive coaster: 3

Longest drop on a dive coaster: 214ft

Highest inversion on a dive coaster: 165ft

Most roller coasters taller than 200ft at one amusement park: 5

Most rides at one amusement park: 72

Most steel track at one amusement park: 52,125ft/9.9 miles

Most roller coaster track at one amusement park: 60,110ft/11.4 miles

If you're a coaster junkie, Cedar Point is a MUST hit destination, with more rides that you can ride in a day... and from personal experience, the Magnum XL-200, a coaster so high that on a clear day you can see Canada.
