New Movies This Week [VIDEO]

“Battle: Los Angeles” (PG-13)
Stars Aaron Eckhart, Bridget Moynahan, Michelle Rodriguez and Michael Pena.

Aliens invade earth.  Cities are destroyed.  Things blow up.  The Marines fight back.  Bring on the Sci-Fi action!

“Mars Needs Moms” (PG)
Stars Seth Green, Dan Fogler, Elisabeth Harnois, Mindy Sterling and Joan Cusack.

An animated story about a young boy who gains a deeper appreciation for his mom after Martians come to Earth to take her away. This will probably have moms all over the country wishing that they could be abducted by Martians so their kids could learn the same lesson.

“Red Riding Hood” (PG-13)
Stars Amanda Seyfried, Shiloh Fernandez, Max Irons, Julie Christie and Gary Oldman.

A twisted new take on the Red Riding Hood story.  A small town girl is in love with an outsider, but is being forced to marry a wealthy member of the village.  All of this while a beastly wolf reins terror upon the townsfolk.
