Fort Collins is one of the most forward thinking cities in the United States as far as recycling goes. In order to handle hard-to-recycle items and more items in general, a new facility was needed. That facility now has a date to begin operation. August 22nd, 2016 the new Fort Collins recycling center will open on Timberline Road. The old Riverside facility will close and all their operations will move to the Timberline location. Know what you can recycle and do your part!
