New Business and More Jobs On the Way for Johnstown

A new distribution center that is being pulled for the town of Johnstown will have the potential to add a substantial amount of jobs to the local economy.

According to the Coloradoan, Swire Coca-Cola has purchased 11 acres that will be located at the 2534 development in town. The parcel of land will be home to a 125,000 square foot distribution center for the company.

Swire is based out of Utah and currently has an office in Fort Collins.

Gerrard Development Corporation said in a statement, received by the Coloradoan, that this development combined with the addition of the High Country Beverage distribution center will create more jobs for Johnstown.

Swire already has seven locations throughout the state of Colorado.

This location in Johnstown has begun to grow quite rapidly over the last few months, with Scheel's Sporting Goods, Liberty Firearms Institute, and many other retailers also planned for the space.
