New Belgium Increasing Brewing Capacity And Distribution States

As of today New Belgium Brewery is adding new tanks to increase brewing capacity in order to distribute to new states.

Currently, New Belgium has a brewing capacity to support roughly 800,000 barrels per year. All of this week they will be installing 16 brand new tanks direct from Germany which are estimated to nearly handle an added 50,000 barrels per year. It doesn't come cheap however, the installation of the new tanks this week will cost around $10 million.

Currently, New Belgium Brewery distributes in 29 states and also in the District of Columbia. The addition of the new tanks to the brewery will provide enough to distribute in Louisiana and Alaska starting this April.

New Belgium also has plans to open a brand new state of the art brewery in North Carolina which will be ready to produce another 400,000 barrels starting in 2015.
