New Belgium Brewing has announced it is adding a couple of new beers and will possibly expand and add a brewery on the East Coast. According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, the brewery is considering new locations in Philadelphia, Pa., Asheville, N.C. and two other location in the east.

New Belgium previously named Asheville, N.C., as an option, and on Monday, spokesman Bryan Simpson said Philadelphia is also on a short list of four potential locations.

Two new beers are in the works for New Belgium, Dig and Shift, according to the article.

The second beer is a pale lager called Shift and is named after the brewery’s free-beer-after-each-shift policy.

Shift will be released only in the brewery’s new 16-ounce cans that are coming off the canning line that is under construction. The beer’s logo has a silver bicycle chain and gears on it.
