NEVER GROW UP! Free Cartoon Mornings at the Lyric

Remember waking up to watch your morning cartoons while binge-eating the marshmallows out of your Lucky Charms? Who said you had to stop doing that? (Other than your girlfriend.) The Lyric Cinema Cafe in Old Town hosts free morning cartoons, so you can plan on calling in late to work now. 

We may recommend not wearing your footie pajamas in public, because that's kind of weird as an adult, but aside from that, you can relive the Saturday mornings of your youth Monday through Friday at the Lyric. For $5, you can dig into the all-you-can-eat cereal buffet and kick off your day with a sugar buzz.

The Lyric says it's a great place for moms and dads to bring the kids, or for college kids to hang before class (or during...). Between 10 a.m. and noon, they'll be showing the classics, like Looney Tunes, Popeye, Voltron, Thundercats and your requests, too.
