We're still on the fence as to whether NBC's Zoe Saldana-starring 'Rosemary's Baby' miniseries remake can live up to the scares of the original, but all the same, the newest iteration of motherly horror at last has a premiere date. Fear will officially be born anew on NBC this coming May, and Mother's Day to boot!

According to NBC, the first two hours of its 'Rosemary's Baby' remake miniseries will air on Sunday, May 11 from 9:00 - 11:00 P.M., competing against the likes of ABC's 'Revenge' season 2 and 'Once Upon A Time' season 3 finales. The second half of the four-hour miniseries will air in the same timeslot on Thursday, May 15.

Apart from shifting the New York setting to Paris, the four-hour NBC remake will otherwise follow the 1968 film’s plot of a young couple who struggle to become pregnant before the resulting conception drives Rosemary to increased paranoia toward her husband and the neighbors’ intentions for the child. 'Awake’ star and ‘Harry Potter‘ baddie Jason Isaacs will play villainous neighbor and warlock/coven-leader Roman Castevet, with ‘Suits‘ star Patrick J. Adams playing Rosemary’s husband, Guy.

Scott Abbott and James Wong (‘The X-Files,’ ‘American Horror Story‘) wrote the screenplay for the four-hour reboot, while Agnieszka Holland (‘Treme‘) directs.
