"Mama, come quick, I found a fly carrying its baby on it's butt". This comment comes after an episode of Cat and the Hat Knows A Lot About That! about the different ways babies are carried. Upon closer inspection, these were flies mating. I just let it go and said "cool, good eye". Up next, my Moms garden and the zucchini plant acting as a love pad for two grasshoppers. She's certainly not ready at 4-years-old for the "sex talk", but when do we start talking about "oh, that's just how they make babies" and hope she doesn't ask anything further? Anyone? I'm not ready for this!

My name is Kama and I'm a Mom...and that just freaks me out sometimes. I'm a bunch of other things that used to seem really important, but somehow being a Mom blurs those other things into mush. I have a 4 year-old daughter and 1 year-old twin boys. Everyday I have a "holy s**t, I can't believe I'm a Mom" moment and those get shared here.
