Yes, today is tax-deadline day, but Uncle Sam is cutting us all a little break this week. The National Parks are free! You can visit over 300 of the nations national parks with no admission fee from April 16th-24th.

As part of National Park Week, more than 300 National Park Service sites are offering free admission, including Yellowstone and Rocky Mountain National Park.

You can find out everything you need to know about our national parks and the free admission week from the U.S. National Parks Service website.

And if this week is just too busy for you to head out and enjoy nature's splendor there will be another free day coming up on June, 21st (the first day of summer).

Here is a full list of the parks in Colorado (Consider this a to-do list).  And here are the ones in Wyoming.

There is nothing so American as our national parks.... The fundamental idea behind the parks...is that the country belongs to the people, that it is in process of making for the enrichment of the lives of all of us."

-President Franklin D. Roosevelt
