A new restaurant is opening in Loveland near the Budweiser Events Center. The Water Valley Land Company and Stellar Development are opening Lola Neighborhood Diner. It will be operated by the Delicious Concepts Restaurant Group, as a new tenant at The Brands at the Ranch in Loveland.

Lola Neighborhood Diner will occupy the former Perkins Restaurant & Bakery building located at 6020 Stallion Dr., in Loveland. It will open to the public in the next few months.

Lola Diner creator Ken Bridge opened his first location in Houston, Texas and named it after his best friend’s grandma, Lola, whom she considered his own. He later learned that within their Filipino culture, “Lola” was a term affectionately used for grandmother.

The Loveland location will be the first Lola Diner in Colorado.

The contemporary diner will have a modern flair, with a menu of uniquely flavored dishes that also features down home cuisine. A few of their popular down-home items are the Day After Thanksgiving Sandwich, the Chicken and Fruit Waffles and the Chicken Fried Steak. The 5,500-square-foot building will not only serve breakfast all day but offer a wide variety of lunch and dinner plates, with plenty of gluten free and vegan options.
