Seen any glowing neon forests on your feeds lately? It probably has something to do with Meow Wolf-- an immersive art installation that recently popped up in Santa Fe, New Mexico and quickly took Instagram by storm. The collective is on its way to Denver, which means that you can take part in the colorful, imaginative, crazy fun very soon.

The experience is hard to explain, so we'll let them do it for you. According to their website, Meow Wolf:

"[...]creates immersive, interactive experiences to transport audiences of all ages into fantastic realms of story and exploration. The group’s first permanent installation, launched in March 2016 with support from Game Of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin, showcases the THEA Award-winning House of Eternal Return, where guests discover a multidimensional mystery house with secret passages, portals to magical worlds, climbing apparatus, and surreal, maximalist & mesmerizing art exhibits along with a children’s learning center, top ten in the U.S. music venue and cafe area." Since each experience differs, we have a feeling that Denver's installation will offer something new and different for art lovers in the downtown area.

While Fort Collins definitely has a burgeoning art scene (looking at you, Downtown Artery), a new experience like Meow Wolf will be an exciting change of scenery. Meow Wolf in Denver plans to open in 2020, and you can make a donation to the project or get admission tickets early right here.
