McDonald’s Starts Serving Breakfast All Day Today… I Had to Go!

It was lunch time, I was hungry but I didn’t want “lunch” for lunch, but I really had no other option…Or did I? I pull into the golden arches to grab some grub in Windsor. By the looks of it, I am not the only one that had this idea on a dreary Tuesday afternoon...

Oh, what do I see here? Did someone forget to change out the breakfast menu? NO... It says "ALL DAY BREAKFAST"! Is this real life right now? It IS real life! I get to order breakfast at noon, this is it, this has to be the best day ever!

I pay for my meal, get the goods at the next window and I'm off! Yes, I drive more carefully when there is food in the car than another passenger.

Here it is in all of its glory and a Broncos cup to top off the awesomeness! McDonald's egg, sausage & cheese McMuffin after 10:30am!

Why is this so exciting? If you have ever had a schedule like mine, you'd know that getting breakfast anywhere other than home is kind of a hard thing to accomplish unless you want to go in to a place, sit down and wait... Ain't nobody got time for that! I've worked the late shift the majority of my life so I was in bed when breakfast was served. This is history 42 years in the making people! 42 years since the egg McMuffin was introduced and 42 years that some of us wanted an egg McMuffin after 10:30am! Now we can have breakfast when WE want breakfast! Egg McMuffin at 5pm instead of your typical dinner cuisine? Done!
