I am assuming that one of the secrets to a successful burglary is a quick and speedy getaway. Returning to a home where you just stole a sound system to try and find the remote control you didn't take, is a good way to save police a lot of work and get yourself thrown in jail right away.

According to NJ.com, a 42-year-old man had broken in to a home in New Jersey and stolen a number a valuables; including a pricey sound system. 30-minutes after he completed his heist, he was seen running back into the home to try an retrieve the sound system's remote control.

Police picked him up and he's facing burglary charges, but they also found that, on top of being a less-than-intelligent burglar, he was also a scumbag. They found he was robbing the house so he could satisfy is heroin addiction and he was a fugitive in Pennsylvania for not paying child support.

I bet he has to beat off the swooning ladies with a stick.
