A man in Keystone was arrested by sheriff officials after stealing a bus still filled with passengers then reportedly slid off the road.

Late Thursday evening Joshua Taylor Mock reportedly stole the vehicle filled with passengers then proceeded to drive "erratically" up Montezuma Road. Frightened passengers were quick to dial 911 while the bus was being hijacked.

After the bus went out of control sliding off the road, police were quickly able to pick up Mock as he was seen walking just a half mile away. Passengers were able to swiftly identify the man.

The Summit Stage bus was the vehicle involved in the crime which is a free service to visitors and residents of Summit County and takes passengers to nearby ski resorts and shopping area's.

Mock was arrested and booked into jail following charges of reckless endangerment, motor vehicle theft and kidnapping.

Mock was arrested just 9 days earlier after he was seen rummaging through police and city vehicles in Park County.
