Man Hijacks Car For Prom – Dumb Criminal Of The Day

Some people have fond prom memories; others wish they could forget their proms. But, look on the bright side if you wish you could forget yours, at least your date didn’t hijack a car on the way to your big dance!

According to UPI, a Chicago man was arrested and charged for allegedly threatening the owner of a Ford SUV with a gun and taking the vehicle along with a handful of cash. Police caught up with him at a McDonald’s parking lot later that day. Dream-date here was wearing a white tuxedo and ended up missing his girlfriend’s prom that night due to his arrest.

You’d think his girlfriend would be mad at him for being in idiot, but she was allegedly mad at police.

After he was arrested and taken to a district station, his girlfriend complained to police about how 'her prom was ruined'.

Well, her boyfriend did have a night he’ll never forget, he now has to face charges of aggravated vehicular hijacking, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance (Oh he had drugs on him when he was arrested), and possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number.

Four felonies in one promo night, is that some kind of record?
