The intersection of Harmony and Shields was shut down for five hours on Friday after a two cars collided and sent three people to the hospital.

According to the Coloradoan, a 2006 Chevy pickup was making a left turn onto northbound Shields when it was hit by a 2013 Chevy pickup. The 2013 pickup was driven by a 28-year-old and had a 5-year-old passenger.

Law enforcement are investigating what color the traffic lights were at the time and if speed was a factor. Alcohol and drugs have been ruled out.
