I love movies.  Always have always will.  Probably because my dad used to take me to the movies almost every weekend.  So hearing that a local film festival is going to be bigger and better than ever this year is music to my ears.

The Lifetree Film Fest in Loveland is expanding, both to an extra night and to a more major venue, according to the Loveland Reporter-Herald.

This year, the festival will be held at the Rialto Theater, instead of the Pulliam Building.  Organizers have also added an extra night to the festivities; so the festival will start on the night of April 10th, and run for three days instead of two.

Awesome!

Film reviewers received 200 films from 35 countries, which they pored over to narrow down to six to seven films to show Saturday all day. Organizers will show full-length feature films on Thursday and Friday evenings, and short films on Saturday.

I haven't been to a film festival in years, and I think Lifetree Film Fest looks like the perfect excuse to break that dry spell.

Are you as excited about this as I am?
