Loveland OfficeMax Store is Closing Forever

When two huge companies merge, you can bet they'll want to streamline things.  In the case of the merger of OfficeMax and Office Depot, that means closing some stores.

The Loveland Reporter-Herald reports that the OfficeMax store on Eisenhower Boulevard in Loveland will close on May 31st.

Julianne Carelli, a spokeswoman at Office Depot headquarters in Boca Raton, Fla., said after the closure at the end of the day May 31, the company will serve its customers at the Loveland Office Depot store at 277 E. 29th St. or online at officedepot.com.

I certainly hope at least some of those Office Max employees will have new jobs waiting for them at another store.  Losing your job is no fun. :(
