Many of the featured distillers are also engineers by day, so you can bet that their flavorful concoctions of gin, vodka, whiskey and rum are made with a complete science and passion. In addition to sampling dozens of craft spirits, guests will get to experience amazing interactive arts, such as exciting music and light performances, a fire breathing dragon, Star Trek’s Artemis bridge simulator, a life-sized video game, body painting, and so much more! Attendees will receive a commemorative tasting glass, as well as hors d'oeuvres from a specially paired tasting menu. Guests must be 21-years and older to attend this event. For those worried about driving to and from Sparks & Spirits, there are designated driver tickets available, and a free bio-diesel bus will also be picking people up at 5:30 p.m. from Equinox Brewing in Fort Collins (Even though it's free, you must sign up for bus seats in advance on the ticket page). Tickets are $60 at the door, or purchase them in advance online for $50.

Sparks & Spirits is the annual fundraising event for the nonprofit educational organization, the Colorado Maker Hub. Proceeds from the event go towards funding arts grants and youth maker programs. For even more imaginative and creative fun (for people of all ages), the NoCo Mini Maker Faire will be going on from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 8 and 9 at The Ranch too.
