Larry Eustachy Under New Conduct Investigation at CSU

An internal investigation is underway at Colorado State University looking into the conduct of men's head basketball coach, Larry Eustachy, said Athletic Director Joe Parker.

In a statement released today, Parker said, "We have started a climate assessment, which involves conversations with the students and staff members associated with the men's basketball program. As always, we will not make any public comments until our process is complete and have no additional information to share at this time."

According to the Rocky Mountain Collegian, interviews have already begun with players and coaches focusing on Eustachy's behavior. Sources told the Collegian that all but two players spoke out against the head coach.

This is not the first time Eustachy has been investigated during his tenure at CSU. Almost a year ago, February 2017, The Coloradoan reported that Eustachy had emotionally abused his players and created an environment of fear and intimidation. In that investigation, former Athletic Director Jack Graham advised that Eustachy be fired, but the University did not follow up on that recommendation.

The Rams are currently 10-13 overall with a 3-7 conference record. They take on Wyoming tonight at Moby Arena at 7pm.
