About Cops Fighting Cancer

Cops Fighting Cancer is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization founded in 2003 by Aurora Police Officer and cancer survivor Jim Senneca. Cops Fighting Cancer is dedicated to providing assistance to cancer victims all over Colorado. Each year the Cops Fighting Cancer Organization arranges the “Long Blue Line,” which is a procession of law enforcement officers and their vehicles from around the state that culminates at Children’s Hospital in Aurora.  Officers then distribute gifts to children undergoing cancer treatments and other medical conditions.  This offers the kids positive contact with law enforcement and gives the officers a memorable and unforgettable experience with brave children fighting to become well again.
