To many July 25, 2015 was just another day.  Maybe a birthday or anniversary but what happened in Los Angeles that day was something that stole my heart and made me a bigger fan of O.A.R.  O.A.R. music for me has always been that go-to when I'm sitting around a fire with friends. Generally a couple bottles of wine are involved but when I heard early this past summer about a new project in which they were putting their efforts the respect I gained for them soared off the chart.

O.A.R. along with Cody Simpson were asked to create a anthem for the Special Olympic Summer Games in Los Angeles.  With some creative collaboration between the artists they released "Reach Up."  The uplifting song embodies what the Special Olympics is all about, optimism, acceptance and inclusion.  O.A.R. music has always been about lifting people up and creating a positive message, so what better organization than Special Olympics to work with.

See O.A.R. at #ThePointJingleJam on Thursday, Dec. 3rd!
