The Johnstown Police Department is asking for help locating a suspect in an attempted assault.

The Johnstown Police Department responded to attempted assault happened at approximately 8:25 p.m. on Saturday, August 6th. A woman was jogging on the south side of Johnstown Lake when she was grabbed from behind by the male suspect. The woman hit the suspect in the face with her elbow and he fled from the scene southbound on a bike.

The suspect has been described as a male between the age of 20-30 years old, around 5'7", 160-180 lbs, wearing a dark blue shirt, jeans that were cuffed at the bottom, white shoes and a white baseball cap. Johnstown Police are asking anyone who has any information to call 970-587-555.
