Indian Teen Has a Record 232 Teeth Removed

Talk about a good day for the tooth fairy.

 A teenager in India was dealing with some massive swelling in his jaw and his parents feared the worse when it didn't get better. Thinking that their son had cancer, they took him to get some medical help and what the doctors found was something that they had never seen.

What they found was not cancer but a rare condition called complex odontoma, which is a tumor that can cause additional teeth like structures to form. This poor kid had it pretty bad. After a seven hour surgery, doctors removed 232 teeth from the boys jaw and larger structures that had to be chiseled out. Yeesh! The good news is that the teen will be fine and should heal without any deformities.

The doctors plan on submitting this to the Guinness Book of World Records.
