Online voting has become a bigger and bigger issue in the past few years. There are plenty of proponents who say that online voting would make it easier for people to vote, such as those serving in the military overseas. And there are plenty more arguments against it because of security issues that online voting creates. This begs us to ask the question, would you vote online if you could?

It seems just about everything is moving online nowadays, so why hasn't voting moved there yet? You can read this article from Politics.Slashdot.org about some of the reasons online voting could create problems. The author there creates a pretty compelling argument about the security concerns that could be created with online voting . Problems they say, can't be fixed in the foreseeable future.

If that is true, then it looks like we'll all have to deal with mail-in ballots or long lines at polling stations for a long time.
