Do you know what Huntington's Disease is? Yeah, I didn't know much about it either until my fiance, and I had to have "the talk."

You know the one? The one where you talk to each other about the different diseases or lack thereof that run in your family. As I learned more and more about Huntington's Disease, the one thing that stood out to me is that there is no treatment, and the symptoms are most noticeable between the ages of 35-44-years-old. It's a genetic disease and in the early stages, you notice subtle changes in personality, then come the physical symptoms, of random, uncontrollable movements. Life expectancy is generally around 20 years following the onset of visible symptoms.

Coming up on Saturday, June 4th Hope Conquering Huntington's, Inc. annual event that gives everyone in Colorado and Southern Wyoming a chance to Honor the lives of those who are battling Huntington's, remember those lost, and fight back against HD by providing support for HD families.
