Whether it be for date night or just a fun evening with family or friends, stocking up with popcorn, soda and candy and catching the double feature at the drive-in movies makes for the perfect night of entertainment. Luckily this Friday, you can begin to do so!

The Holiday Twin Drive-In, located on Overland Trail in Fort Collins, will be open for the 2016 season starting on the weekend of March 25-26, almost a month earlier than in previous years. The box office opens to the public at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and accepts cash only. Movie prices are $5 for children between the ages of 6 to 9, $7 for guests ages 10 and up, and $5 for seniors who are 65 and older.

Here is the movie schedule for opening weekend. Shows begin at dark:

  • Screen 1: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (PG-13) followed by London Has Fallen (R)
  • Screen 2: Zootopia (PG) followed by Star Wars: The Force Awakens (PG-13)

You just can’t beat two movies for the price of one! Beginning on Memorial Day, the drive-in theater will remain open seven nights a week — just in time for those warm summer nights under the stars.

[UPDATE 3/25]: Due to inclement weather, the Holiday Twin Drive-In has postponed opening weekend.
