What is going on with people? High School football player Julian Connerton wanted wear pink gloves to show support for his mom who is battling breast cancer, but the coach said no. So, he quit.

A member of the board of directors for the athletic association had this to say, "It was strictly a uniform situation. No one knew that there was a personal reason why the kid wanted to wear the gloves. … The game was ready to begin in minutes, and it was a communication issue. There was a storm. It was chaotic.”

Julian's mother said that the coach should have known why he wanted to wear them since her condition is no secret.

The Athletic Director stated that the gloves are part of the uniform and must adhere to appearance standards but whether color matters or not is debatable.

I think that the team should ask Julian back. What are your thoughts?
