The High Park Fire has burned approximately 46,600 acres, and is 10% contained. More than 1,000 people are working on the fire.  50 National Guardsmen are also assisting with road blocks.

Poudre Canyon residents from Stove Prairie to MM118 who have not evacuated yet must leave immediately. Many other evacuation orders are still in effect as well.  Click here for full evacuation info.

Roads south of CR74E (NOT INCLUDING Cr74E) are closed to everyone except residents.  This includes Hewlett Gulch Road, Deer Meadow Way, and Gordon Creek Lane, as well as any connecting roads in the area.

The fire was caused by lightning.
