So, you know how it's almost impossible to get certain Disney movies on DVD once they've been locked away in the "Disney Vault," and you don't even see them in stores again until the super-special-limited-extended-remastered edition comes out ten years later?  Yeah...kind of annoying.  Well, guess what?  The same thing is happening to Harry Potter.

Moviefone reports that, after Dec. 29th, Warner Bros. will no longer be shipping DVD's of any of the Harry Potter films to stores.

That means if you don't get 'Harry Potter' DVDs during the holiday season, you likely won't be able to purchase the films again until Warner Bros. does a special re-release in the future.

Fortunately, though, this "Potter embargo" only applies to DVD's.  Digital downloads of the films should still be available.

So if you're a die-hard Potter fan (like me), either get your paws on Potter now, or learn to be happy with watching him on your laptop.  The choice is yours.
