Growing Trend Of ‘Gallon Smashing’ Causing Problems At Colorado Grocery Stores [VIDEO]

This is just ridiculous! A new growing trend is happening at Colorado grocery stores including Fort Collins locations where pranksters come into a store and film themselves smashing gallon jugs of milk or juice.

How annoying would that be to have to clean up after some pranksters came in smashing gallons of milk?

Well, grocery stores are taking it seriously with multiple reports of it happening in the last few weeks. Albertson's, King Soopers and Safeway are among the Colorado grocery chains that have filed multiple reports with police.

"They're going in, trying to get the attention of other people, I'm sure that's the whole point of the video is to be funny," said Douglas County Sheriff Deputy Chad Teller.

Police aren't taking it to lightly either, they are investigating multiple cases of this happening and cops say any kid getting caught doing it will be charged with criminal mischief.

Stores are being quite cooperative, Alberton's among the other stores are turning all surveillance video over to police.

And to those pranksters out there... your being foolish. STOP!
