Greeley’s Run for Refugees 5k

Run/Walk 5k for a great cause is in Greeley Saturday May 21, 2016. Greeley is holding a 5k to raise funds and awareness for the Global Refugee Center located in Greeley. The center helps the collaboration between refugees seeking help, safety, and shelter in our country from war torn and dangerous areas of the world. The center helps mediate between the community and refugees by helping to teach English as a second language and how to adapt to a life in our country.

The walk/run is Saturday, May 21, 2016 with registration beginning at 06:30am at the Global Refugee Center located at 917 10th Ave Greeley, CO 80631-First United Methodist Church. The Run for Refugees 5k will bring lots of awareness to how much they help and are needed within our global community. You can't help but see how much this center helps and how grateful people are that they exists and are an option for the innocent that get afflicted by all the violence that encompasses their countries every day.
