The Coloradoan online has reported that former Weld County Sheriff's Deputy Tom Fallis has been indicted for second-degree murder in the 2012 death of his 28-year-old wife, Ashley Fallis.

A Weld County District Judge issued an arrest warrant for Fallis. He had been living in Bloomington, Indiana since after his wife's shooting death.

Bail for Fallis has been set at $200,000.

Ashley Fallis suffered a fatal gunshot wound on New Year's Day 2012 at the couples home. Her death was initially ruled a suicide after an Evans Police investigation into the shooting. And Tom Fallis was cleared of any involvement in the case.

Following the Evans Police investigation previously unheard witness details and claims that the case was mishandled led to an independent investigation by Fort Collins Police Services and Loveland Police Department.
