Giant Wasps Attack People in China

This is something straight out of a nightmare.

These are Asian Giant Hornets and they are the largest hornets in the world. They grow to 2.2 inches in length and have killed at least 21 people in China. The picture below are just of the queens.

Warmer weathers in China have led to increased breeding among the insects and the attacks have been more frequent because of this. The more you run, the more they chase you and they can fly up to 25 MPH! One patient had more than 200 stings on his body!

More terrifying than that is last summer, these monsters were spotted in Illinois!
