It's official...the Denver Broncos have made the decision to hire Gary Kubiak as the new head coach for the next four seasons.

It's definitely a homecoming for Kubiak, as he served as the backup quarterback under John Elway for the Broncos from 1983-1991. He was also the offensive coordinator for Denver from 1995-2005, a period during which the team won two Super Bowl titles. While touring the Bronco's facility this time around, Kubiak noted how much some things had been fixed up and changed, and how others things had remained exactly the same.

Kubiak is coming to Denver after his time spent as offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens. Prior that that, he spent a seven year span as head coach for Houston.  He is the  15th coach in team history. A news conference will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at noon to formally introduce Kubiak as head coach.
