Residents from all over Northern Colorado are invited to join in on the fun that will be happening at Garden City's 4th annual Bootleggin' Days Brewfest on August 26 and 27. The two-day, family-friendly festival kicks off Friday at 4 p.m., and will be taking place at the Garden City Town Hall, located at 621 27th Street Road.

Admission into this event is completely free – and to start things off with a bang, the first 500 guests into the Brewfest on Friday afternoon will receive a free BBQ meal from Rudy's, courtesy of the Garden City Business Association. While getting filled up with some delicious dinner, festival-goers can enjoy live music from The Movers and Shakers until 8 p.m., as well as a free bike show (walk-up entries welcome) sponsored by Willie's Motorcycle Rescue. Nine Northern Colorado craft breweries will be featured at Bootleggin' Days Brewfest, ready to quench your thirst with both flagship and seasonal beer samples. These include High Hops, Pateros Creek, Loveland Aleworks, Brokenplow Brewery, Weldwerks, Crow Hope Brewing Co., Grand Lake Brewing Co., and Wiley Roots Brewing Co. The nine breweries will be facing off in a People's Choice competition, so be sure to place your vote!

The festival opens back up at noon on Saturday, and this is definitely the day to bring the whole family out. Besides the beer garden, there will be a variety of local food vendors on-site, and live music all day provided by 4 Phroggs, Lunde Station, The Condors, Ben Pu & Crew, and the Austin Young Band. Plus, all of the attractions in the kid's area, including the WOW Bubbles, carnival games, a photo booth and face painting, are all completely free of charge. The children's entertainment area will only be set up from 12-5 p.m. on Saturday, though the Brewfest continues on until 8 p.m. Get more information about this fun-filled event by visiting: www.GardenCityBA.com.
