Fort Collins Veterans Plan Peace Vigil for Wednesday Night

A chapter of Veterans for Peace in Fort Collins is planning a peace vigil for Wednesday evening (November 26) at Unity Church. The Church is located at 1401 West Vine Dive in Fort Collins. The vigil will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will include music, poetry and storytelling.

According to their website, Veterans for Peace has been around since 1985, and was founded by 10 U.S. veterans in response to the global nuclear arms race and U.S. military interventions in Central America. The organization has grown to over 140 chapters worldwide and is dedicated to building a culture of peace.
