Fort Collins School Evacuated After a Small Kitchen Fire

Webber Middle School in Fort Collins was briefly evacuated on Wednesday afternoon after a small kitchen fire.

The fire was reported around 12:59 p.m. and students were evacuated as a precaution. According to the Coloradoan, students were back in class about 30 minutes later.

The fire started and was contained to the dishwasher, most likely for a mechanical malfunction. There was no damage outside the dishwasher.
