Fort Collins Police on Friday released body-cam video of the moments when police shot and killed a murder suspect in the city last year.

According to Denver 7, 26 year old George Newman was shot back in October at the America's Best Value Inn on North College Avenue. His cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds, and the autopsy showed he had "extremely high levels of methamphetamines" in his system.

Newman was connected to the murder of a Fort Collins woman in late September, 2017 as her body was found inside her home four days after the shooting at the hotel. Her name was Sherri Allman. The shotgun in the body-cam video belonged to Allman.
