Fort Collins’ October – November Snows Already Above Average
If you thought we had a lot of snow already you’d be right. The CSU Climate Center has released some data concerning our early snowfall.
October’s snows were far above normal, and November – thanks to Tuesday night’s storm – already is above average.
Fort Collins saw 9.7 inches of snow in October, which is 269 percent higher than the 30-year average, according to data from the Colorado Climate Center at Colorado State University.
And 2-day-old November already has beaten the 30-year average of 8.6 inches for the month. Fort Collins saw 9.5 inches of snow from this snowstorm, according to the Climate Center.
