Man Arrested for Sex Offenses Against Juveniles in Fort Collins
Fort Collins Police are looking for anyone who may have been victimized by a man accused of sexual exploitation of juveniles.
The parents of a teen victim initially contacted Fort Collins Police after they discovered concerning messages between 49-year-old Scot Lee Stockwell and their teenager. Through the course of an investigation, detectives determined that Stockwell had provided drugs and alcohol to multiple underage victims in exchange for sexual favors.
Scot Lee Stockwell was arrested April 28, 2017, and booked into the Larimer County Jail on charges of Unlawful Sexual Contact (class 4 felony), Sexual Exploitation of a Child (class 5 felony), and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor (class 4 felony).
Victims may have concerns about consequences for underage drinking or drug use; however, the focus of this case is on investigating sexual abuse and seeking justice for victims. Anyone who may have been victimized by Stockwell is encouraged to contact Detective Dan Calahan at 970-416-2051 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
All charges are simply an accusation by law enforcement officers, and all arrested parties must be presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
