While much of Colorado and the Nation is set to see economic growth slow down, Fort Collins is set to buck the trend. According to the Reporter Herald, Fort Collins is set to lead the state in both GDP and job growth in 2016. The projected job growth of 4 percent, would rank Fort Collins 14th nationally, while the 2.4 percent job growth would rank us 47th out of 381 tracked metro areas. Greeley on the other hand is heading in an odd direction. In 2016, Weld County job growth is set to got 3 percent, the 15th fastest in the nation, however the GDP is expected to drop by 0.2 percent.

So what metro is the worst in Colorado? That distinction belongs to Grand Junction. Grand Junction is ranked 272nd for job growth with a paltry 0.6 percent, and a 0.4 percent growth in GDP, ranking 360th.
