First Play on The Point – September 2nd – 5th

Danny Mercer with "Who Are You Loving Now."  A Colombian American recording artist, songwriter, and producer. He has worked with Afrojack, Akon, Celine Dion, Pitbull and The Wanted to name a few. He picked up a guitar at age 7 and started writing at the age of 14.

Jamie Scott with "Unbreakable." A British singer, songwriter and producer. He grew up listening to his parents' classic albums, and was influenced by artists like Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway. He was also inspired by singer/songwriters Simon & Garfunkel.

Fitz & The Tantrums with "Fools Gold." An American neo soul/indie pop band from Los Angeles, formed in 2008. They were labeled as a "band to watch" in an April 2011 profile in Rolling Stone. The band say they are influenced by the sounds of Motown.

G.R.L. with "Ugly Heart." An American girl group that started out as replaced the departed members of the Pussycat Dolls, but turned into a new group. They really debuted back in 2012 during GoDaddy's big game commercials. They were also featured on Pitbull's "Wild Wild Love."
