With most men getting ready to wrap up "No Shave November," I was wondering how women felt about this tradition coming and going, when I came upon a huge "subculture." I always looked at "No Shave November" or "Mustache March" as just a way to save money on razors a few months out of the year. As it turns out, growing facial hair is a big thing... and sometimes the bigger the better. Several years ago the word "Metrosexual" entered our vernacular and now we're welcoming "Lumbersexual." If you can't figure it out on your own, according the Urban Dictionary, a Lumbersexual is "A Metro-sexual who has the need to hold on to some outdoor based rugged-ness, thus opting to keep a finely trimmed beard."

There is even a "Social Beard Network" called "Bristlr" that is "Connecting those with beards to those who want to stroke beards." Now Bristlr is not necessarily a "dating" app, and they even admit that it's a little ridiculous. However, there's obviously a big enough need in the "beard culture" that a way to connect socially is needed.

There is even a Instagram account that is dedicated to the "Lumbersexual."
