There has been a big rally on social media this week regarding Fireball Whiskey, a party favorite for many.

There was a report that Fireball was recalled and lethal if consumed due to one of its ingredients. It had been reported that the whiskey drink contained anti-freeze.

In a statement today, Oct. 29, 2014, the makers of Fireball Whiskey are saying that the drink is safe and is only being recalled in some European countries. The recall overseas is due to differing content laws. In the United States, the FDA has deemed that products in America can contain some propylene glycol or PG. Essentially, PG is a food additive and is used in many foods including ice cream.

Fireball Whiskey representatives said that a shipment of Fireball approved for consumption in the U.S. and not in countries like Finlan, Sweden and Norway.
