Additional Information

Global Village Museum will host Story Time: Tales of Mexico. Enjoy a story, snack and a craft related to the Museum’s exhibit Mexico:

Objects for Living, Objects for Life. “ConMigo” is a delightful story of a young boy and his invisible playmate who provides comfort and companionship when his parents are busy working.

“What Can You Do with a Rebozo?” is about a young Mexican American girl who tells of the many creative uses she has found for her mother’s red rebozo (long scarf). Children and their families are invited to view the rich history and traditions of Mexico with a focus on objects used in both everyday life and for special occasions.
